This opportunity offers an intensive internship experience in marine research on a beautiful island in Mozambique. Aspiring environmental or marine scientists can apply to work alongside a dedicated team, collecting data on marine life such as manta rays, turtles, dolphins, and whales. Participants will gain field experience in marine research, contribute to conservation efforts, and immerse themselves in the vibrant culture and environment of Tofo, Mozambique.

The project focuses on various impact areas, including coral reef and marine megafauna dives, photo identification, estuary research, scientific talks and documentaries, and community engagement. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to enjoy adventure activities like kayaking, surfing, and horseback riding, as well as relaxation options such as yoga classes and beach braais.

The project is ethically focused on protecting marine life and coral reefs, and volunteers play a crucial role in conservation efforts. The dates and rates are flexible, with project fees covering training, meals, accommodation, and other essentials. Additional costs include visa fees, flights, medical insurance, and personal expenses.
